ASG Evaluation Criteria
ASG evaluated each candidate in three main areas:
- the extent to which the candidate's responses to the Candidates'
Questionnaire are consistent with ASG's
Organizational Statement and its policies and strategies;
- the extent to which the candidate demonstrates thoughtfulness
and an openness to considering new and innovative approaches
for dealing with the issues raised in the Candidates' Questionnaire;
and
- the extent to which the candidate's background makes the person
a suitable City Council candidate, with a focus on evaluating
the person's prior involvement in Alexandria civic affairs.
