ASG Advisory Board
Alexandrians for Sensible Growth has established an Advisory Board
to provide expertise to the ASG Board of Directors on issues regarding
land use planning, transportation, open space, citizen participation
and related legislation. Recommendations for others who should be
on the ASG Advisory Board can be emailed to Ginny Hines Parry, President,
ASG at info@alex4sensiblegrowth.org.
Lawrence V. (Murphy) Antoine, Jr., AIA, AICP
Mr. Antoine, currently with Torti Gallas as a Senior Planner,
has 14 years experience in the fields of architecture, urban planning
and neighborhood revitalization. A Registered Architect and a Certified
Planner, Mr. Antoine has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture,
a Masters in Architecture and a Masters in Planning degrees from
the University of Virginia.
James Wamsley, P.E.
Mr. Wamsley, a resident of Alexandria since 1982, is a retired
Registered Professional Engineer and U.S. Army civilian employee.
He is a member of the Alexandria Bicycle Study Committee, board
member of the Virginia Conservation Network, treasurer of the Fairfax
Coalition for Smart Growth, and chair of the Transportation Committee
for the Virginia Chapter of the Sierra Club.
